Derek and Julee celebrated their 34th anniversary in 2025. They have five children and 10 grandchildren. Someone described their home in this way: "The Gregory's home is like a TV show."  We hope by that they meant it is a vibrant, life-giving place that is rarely dull because living in the way of God is a great adventure.

We serve as campus missionaries in the role of directors of the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (Christian Challenge) at the University of Colorado (CU). Our ministry vision is "knowing and becoming like Jesus to change the world through God-honoring relationships"  We strive to fulfill this vision by sharing the gospel, loving students, discipling them or, overall, introducing them to Jesus and helping them enjoy a vibrant relationship with Him and join Him in His purposes. We are training students to make disciples of all the nations.
